I can say yes to that, for many aspects of my life, but not when it comes to the Canfield Scaregrounds in Canfield, Ohio. Last night was opening night and, although one of the attractions, the Mist Maze, wasn't open, it was well worth the drive and the price of admission. We also received a ticket for the Mist which can be used later in the season. The attraction is set at the fairgrounds, which are creepy and empty this time of year, save the ghouls in the darkness.  The hayride was not terribly scary, but the actors were great, especially a group of female zombies who danced to Thriller.  The house was very scary and I found myself wanting it to be over, not because I was bored, but because I just scared.  One scream after another and very dark.  Also remember, the actors can and do touch you!  The male actors outside of the haunts are very creepy, remain in character and are quite good-looking!  If you don't mind a little zombie!  Clean restrooms and food.  This place is great.  Visited on September 21, 2012.  

The Haunting Season.
The first and only local/semi-local haunt open this weekend is Hundred Acres Manor inBethel Park.  This haunt never disappoints.  And this year, a lot of it has been redone so even if you have gone in the past and think you know every turn in the maze, you have to go this year because there are plenty of new scares.  As always, a well-run haunt, enthusiastic actors, friendly staff, benefits local charities, real restrooms and concession stand!  Who can ask for anything more!

Okay so we are like a billion other blogs....

Ever go to a blog and get all excited about it, only to see that it hasn't been updated in forever?  I have been writing a personal blog for three years now, and I've kept it up.  It's here.  But this one, sadly, it joined the ranks of blogs that aren't updated.  How sad.
But all of the videos that we did last year are here, and may help you pick a good house or two or three or four, for your hauntings this season.  I will try to update this site, too.  We have been to two houses this year and I will be putting the videos up here today.  Hope that helps!
